Our Market Analysis : 05/08/2017

Markets confirmed this week some decorrelation / fragmentation among the major indices.

First of all in the US, as the Dow Jones 30 continues its progression mainly driven by 3 stocks (Apple, Nike and Intel) that allow it to set a new historical record and break the 22000 pts level, while the Nasdaq and The S & P500 remained stable.

One exit and one entry in our Megatrend Euro Portfolio – 04/08/17

We decide to exit the Lyxor CST (Index Construction Europe) ETF from the Megatrend portfolio, while the index weakens and enters a correction phase. We are replacing it with a much more defensive ETF with a positive momentum and a significant upside potential in the short and medium term: the HAYE ETF of Amundi (corporate bond index).

One exit and one entry in our Active Euro Portfolio – 03/08/17

We decide to exit the ETF Lyxor JPN (Topix Index Japan) of the Active Euro portfolio, while the index continues to underperform the stoxx600 and is entering into a correction phase. We are replacing it with a much more defensive ETF with a positive momentum and a significant upward potential in the short and medium term: the Amundi CC4 ETF (corporate bond index).

We decide to exit the Lyxor TRV (Transport & Leisure) ETF from the Euro Active portfolio, while the index continues to underperform the stoxx600. We are replacing it with an ETF with a positive current dynamic and strong short and medium term bullish potential: Lyxor ETF TEL (Telecoms Europe Index).
